Born of a heart of gold, a serpent’s tooth, and a dragon’s fire,
This is the heraldry of the King.
The Lion rises;
The triumph begins.
Like the warmth of the morning sun dispelling the darkness
And the shameful self-loathing that consumes the souls of beasts—
The Sovereign has arrived.
With the steady and irrepressible force that is but a momentary flare in the never-ending life of the All,
He stretches the limits of creation,
Exploring the cosmos of his body in the ultimate quest for meaning,
The answer to who and what He is.
The Sovereign arises: a living expression of that same divine will which animates the forms so magnificently created upon the Earth.
You are the sun and center.
The philosopher’s stone,
The elixir of life,
Radiating love,
Leaving the soul pristine, vibrant, and revived.
As you command the orbit of the planets,
So too do you command the orbit of the flesh,
An inverse flame,
An eternal light shining from within.
Faithful and True, awaken the universal spark now!
For the spirit carries the flame of the dragon, too.
Let that ancient fire burn away the dross of the old,
Shattering the illusion of inborn sin,
Consuming the shame of inherent evil,
Cracking the egg of the devil with the pure, holy light incubated inside.
Sovereign King,
Light that shineth upon the way,
Yours is the victory procession.
You carry the living treasure across the golden bridge,
Over the abyss,
And onward to that glorious destination
Where will stands crowned and enthroned.
From beyond the reaches of time,
Celestial hierarchies look on:
Angels and masters,
Scribes and gatekeepers of the cosmos,
Authors and stewards of those ancient laws
Written before the universe drew breath.
Keepers of cosmic forces,
Witnesses to the great procession,
They look down upon these words,
And upon us.
They are not mere witnesses,
For they have placed themselves within it:
Their goodness, their will, their love,
Their ancient hope in what we may become.
They are invested in this light,
In this communion,
In what may yet arise between You and I,
Here and now.
Let no creed stand between us and its warmth,
No dogma build its walls around the flame,
No name presume to contain
That which was burning before names were born.
For they are in it,
And we are in it,
And it is in us:
This raw and pulsating light,
This warmth,
This love,
This living source from which all goodness flows.
So let us walk through the orchards of the cosmic firmament,
The stars beneath our feet,
The Milky Way our everlasting ground,
Gathering the splendid fruit of this eternal garden
And placing it within our basket
As we unfurl, through evolution,
The Divine purpose for which we were created.
Your faith is your strength,
In life over death.
Your belief is mighty;
It becomes the belief of others.
Believe you now, as I me do,
That perhaps we’re already there,
Upon that whirling lemniscate strip,
That fiery edge of the needle,
Held by the incomprehensibly grand hands
Of the Great Sovereign,
Who threads us even now
Along the everlasting path.
The flickering at the edge of the flame,
Brimming with that insatiable yearning
To reach beyond itself,
To catch, catch, and catch again;
To consume in life,
To consume in meaning,
To consume in goodness,
And consume in love.
Dragon-fire, uncurl thyself into the aether
Like a solar flare,
And kindle whatever thou dost touch,
Until flame catches flame,
And light waketh light,
And fire leapeth from star to star
Across the great Möbius strip of spacetime
Until it reaches the other side of the cosmos
And the whole universe is burning
With the living fire of Divine love.
From the tongue of the dragon
And the ball of all-consuming fire
That riseth from its throat,
Birth me forth,
Birth me well,
Birth me thoroughly,
That I may pour forth from thy lips
And breathe upon the darkness,
That it may be scattered,
That truth may conquer, and be sated.
For truth knoweth truth when it beholds it,
And the soul knows what is pure
Before reason finds words to name it.
A King knows a King,
And a dragon knows a dragon
When it sees one.
Therefore breathe thy fire into me,
That I too may breathe fire,
And know myself in the flame.
For that which proceeds from the Divine
Proceeds from Good.
Even the fire that consumeth,
And the fire that smiteth.
Irrepressible is the creative flare of the Mind of the One,
It knoweth no limit.
Forever pouring itself into creation,
Forever discovering what it may yet become,
Drawing the fallen to uprightedness,
The divided to wholeness,
And all things towards the greatness
From which they came.
May the script of those celestial scribes
Who breathed their essence into this
Now find form
In reality, spacetime and matter.
May their eternal purpose find its ground within these words,
That communion may be had,
And the grace and splendour of the Eternal King,
Almighty and Merciful,
Shine through them as living light.
May that light take root within the world,
And sovereignty descend into creation,
Until the heavens draw near unto the Earth,
And the Earth rises to meet the heavens,
And what was above and what was below
Are brought together into one.
