When one branch burns,

The whole tree feels the flame.

When one leaf bleeds,

The roots remember the pain.

We are woven in the same green breath,

Israel, Palestine, East and West.

Each heartbeat a fruit of the same vine,

Each prayer a spark in the same light divine.

The good of the whole

Is the good of the one;

Until peace is made,

The world cannot be won.
